Final Conference in Brussels Recap

On January 23rd in Brussels, the Final Conference of the Feldenkrais4Life project brought together researchers, policymakers, educators, and health professionals to reflect on two years of European collaboration dedicated to integrated health and somatic practices.

It was a day of dialogue, insight, and shared vision.

From the role of the Feldenkrais Method within somatic health disciplines, to chronic pain and fibromyalgia care, to transdisciplinary approaches in prevention and integrated medicine — the discussions highlighted both the challenges and the transformative potential of this field.

🌍 We were honoured by the invaluable contributions of our special guests:

  • Sandra Coecke – EC Joint Research Centre, Digital Health
  • Nicola Barsotti – MIBES Academy
  • Cliff smyth – IFF Research Group & Journal
  • Yvo mentens & Nikos Appelquist – Feldenkrais Education
  • Marco Chiera – MIBES Academy
  • Mathilde Shisko – PVI-informed Voice Coach

Their perspectives bridged research, EU health policy, education, and clinical practice — strengthening the conversation around resilience and sustainable well-being.
